Coming out of the Dispensationalist Cult

Many of us have come to realize that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture teaching promoted by Cyrus Scofiled and John Nelson Darby, then heavily promoted by Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins of the Left Behind Series is a bit off. I could never really truly ascribe to this Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory so I became what is called a "Post-Tribulation" believer, which means a person who thinks Jesus returns at the end when the 7th Trumpet it blown.

Although I had seen a few videos exposing Scofield and Darby as well as Dispensationalism, I didn't realize that I actually was still heavily influenced by Dispensationalism without realizing it. It wasn't until I heard about how Daniel 9:27 had been twisted and misapplied to create a future 7 year scenario that I started to question things. See my article: There is no 7 yr. Tribulation, it's 3 and a half years.

Before I go any further I want to share a very well done video that exposes Dispensationalism. Surprisingly, this video was made by Baptists, but these Baptists are in the minority because most Baptists today have an allegiance to Dispensationalism. I strongly urge you to take the time to watch this because it's a very thorough overview. Ironically, Baptists tend to be King James only in belief as far as Bible versions but cling tenaciously to the Scofield Reference Bible.

The Bible says to watch our lives and doctrine closely in 1 Timothy 4:16. For those who have a desire for truth and to come out of this heresy, realize that Dispensationalism, although it's a newer End Times eschatology, accounts for 2/3 of the Christian world! They have planted their end times ideas into the Christian populace so thoroughly that we don't even realize that we have bought into their ideas. They have set the framework for our understanding of the End Times.

Realize that the Bible warns us in Matthew Chapter 24:24 "...false messiahs and FALSE PROPHETS will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

The devil has us looking for so many other deceptions like an Alien Invasion, so that we won't recognize the deception that has gone on right under our noses that even we have been misled by. I now ask you to come thoroughly out of this cult. One Pastor named Chuck Baldwin has actually come out and publicly repented of this false teaching. I invite you to watch his video below where he announces this. He also brings up some very important points. That Dispensationalism teaches Israel Based Prophecy, but we should be teaching Jesus Based Prophecy. This whole notion that God has a different plan for the Jews than he does for the Gentiles in regards to salvation is a serious error.

John Hagee goes so far with this notion that he claimed Jesus is not the Messiah to the Jews. Dispensationalists teach that the "Age of Grace" will be over after their rapture. My question is, so then does it revert back to the Age of Law for the humans left behind? These ages or dispensations are wrongly dividing the Scriptures. John Hagee is Dispensationalism on steroids. See his little commercial below:

Dispensationalism promotes Dual Covenant Theology, where they invent a totally different set of standards that God will use for the Jews in comparison to the Gentiles. But the Bible says that Jesus made a Covenant with his own blood, there is no Covenant other than this that will save anyone regardless of whether they are a Jew or a Gentile. This one verse smashes their false theology: Galatians 3:29 says, If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

So let's wipe the slate clean of the Dispensational ideas that have been cemented into our brains that skew our interpretations.

I invite you to read Part 2 in this series: Coming out of the Dispensational Cult (Part 2)

Coming out of the Dispensationalist Cult (Part 2)

This is the second part of my series, if you have not read part one go here first in order to make more sense of this post: Coming out of the Dispensationalist Cult (Part 1). I want my dear friends who probably most likely grew up in the 80's to realize that they have been taught a diagram concerning the end times. Examine the diagrams below and figure out what diagram you've been taught. Have you ever been exposed to the other theories about the Millennium? I need to ask you a very important question.

Who will inhabit the Millennium?

Let's see what the Bible says.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The obvious answer is that those who have been martyred go into the 1000 year Millennial reign of Christ.

These saints are mentioned in Revelation again in Chapter 7: 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, “Who are these that are arrayed in white robes, and from whence have they come?”

14 And I said unto him, “Sir, thou knowest.” And he said to me, “These are they that came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple; and He that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Now, if you go with diagram 1 or diagram 2 which are Dispensational in nature, especially Diagram 2. You see that they believe that Jesus will come again then the Millennium begins. This means that the resurrected martyrs who have been given immortal bodies are going to live with mere mortals. Does this make sense to you?

Diagram 3 are the folks that think that the Millennium will occur near the end due to Christian efforts to take over and subdue the enemy so Jesus can come back. Most of the NAR, otherwise known as Dominionism teachings fall into this camp. I can't think of a better example of this kind of teaching other than Kat Kerr. Many of the Maga Trump Patriotic Christians, although well intended, have fallen for this sort of teaching. Some have even gone further into Qanon craziness.

Qanon borders on insanity, and teaches that all these evil people in Government have been executed at Gitmo and now only their clones are walking around. That's an awful lot of clones. Will someone please tell these folks that these clones are doing just as much damage as the original humans. I am not saying Kat Kerr teaches this, I am just pointing out the evolution of this.

As a Christian I do believe that we are the salt of the earth and that we should be voting good people into office. I have fought the good fight and opposed evil, I have joined protests, I have written letters. I have gone to school board meetings. I have gone to Washington D.C. and protested on the steps of the Supreme Court. I've even set up voter registration drives outside the door of a church I went to. But, despite all our efforts, we cannot bring justice to the earth, only Jesus can.

The last diagram, number 4 makes the most sense to me and this is the one that most of us have never even heard about or examined. We have been so saturated with all the three theories above that we have not even taken diagram 4 into consideration much less know what it is. I urge you to watch the video below by Sam Storms. He explains how he came out of Dispensationalism. Please take a minute away from the sensationalism that is going on and watch your life and doctrine closely. (2 Tim. 4:16). This made all the pieces of the puzzle fit for me. Amillennialists do believe in a Millennium. However, they believe it's location is in heaven and it's running concurrently right now with the events that transpire on earth.

Concerning the time span of 1000 years: "It’s known among Greek scholars that the Greek word translated as 1000 in Rev 20 is chiilioi, the plural form of chillias (1000) and might be translated as “thousand(s)”. See Strongs: Plural of uncertain affinity; a thousand -- thousand.

Those programmed by Dispensational teachers, their first thought is that, "Oh no, the Millennium is on earth", then they will quote you passages about people beating their swords into plowshears. Re-examine all these passages, because they apply to the NEW EARTH that has been promised in the end. The famous passage in Isaiah 65 that is so often attributed to the Millennium: The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord. This is about the new earth. It says so right in the chapter: Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

As Saints we are already living simultaneously on earth, but spiritually in heaven. Remember this passage: Ephesians 2:5-7 ...even when we were dead in our transgressions, he made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ever since I have been posting such videos as these I have upset many Dispensationalists online. Why is this? Pastor Chuck Baldwin sheds some light on this, it has to do with the promotion of Zionism. Dispensationalism was created to promote Zionism plain and simple! I invite you to watch Pastor Baldwin's expose of the Zionist agenda in the video below if you have not already seen this.

My dear friends, we have to realize what is at stake. Revelation 20 talks about Satan being bound for 1000 years and then loosed in the end to deceive the nations. This is happening now, not in some distant future scenario. Satan has been bound in this sense: Jesus said, "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. -John 12:31-32

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed[a] in heaven.” -Matthew 16:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. -Luke 10:19

Here's 100 more verses about binding the devil on this page. Binding the Devil. This is Satan's last hurrah, he doesn't get another shot at it in the future.

The period of time mentioned in the book of Revelation that Satan is truly loosed is the time when he will overcome the Saints with persecution. See the passage in Revelation 13:7 below:

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

This does not happen twice for Satan. When Jesus returns, he finishes Satan for good! Ask yourself this question. Why would Jesus come back in all his glory and set up his Kingdom only for a limited time when the Bible says consistently that his Kingdom is Forever? Also, when you go over all the Old Testament passages that have been attributed to the Millennium by the Dispensationalists please notice it says that God's kingdom is forever in these passages. It does not show the enemy coming in to spoil the perfect society again. Go to the passage about when the swords are beaten into plowshears. (Isaiah 2:4) It does not say later on that they turned their plowshears into swords. There is nothing to show that this period ends with the devil's return. Whenever it is talking about a paradise on earth, this is about the new earth.
